The Nature Center, situated in the heart of 3 Creek Ranch, is an intimate, restored cabin where residents have an opportunity to come and participate in year-round activities, such as: evening programs on topics regarding fishing, wildlife and western cultural history, guest speakers, artists-in-residence, a "junior naturalist" summer program for kids, as well as a place for residents to have private social gatherings. The Center is also a place to come relax, sit by the creek with a friend or two, watch the sunset over the Tetons, or curl up by the wood stove with a good book.
The 3 Creek Ranch Nature Center sponsors a variety of year-round events for our participating members. Programs such as mammal tracking or caring for injured birds of prey will be held on-site or in the larger classroom of Jackson Hole and the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Our programs are designed to educate about the natural world in a unique, accessible setting. We also coordinate activities for members such as interpretive walks, skiing and snowshoeing, as well as art and photography workshops, a guest speaker series, fly fishing seminars, and winter natural history programs.
